Vickie L. Thomas Perez

Vickie L. Thomas Perez, 64, of Kutztown, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Tower Health Hospital in Reading, PA from unexpected complications from her recent cancer surgery.  She was the wife of the late Edwardo Perez. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Diane J. (Cook) Thomas and the late Gary G. Thomas. Vickie was a graduate of Kutztown High School class of 1977. Vickie loved her mother, her many cats throughout her lifetime, riding motorcycles, and driving sports cars. She worked at Henson Company for 15 years, before going on disability after her first cancer treatments in 2005. In addition to her mother she is survived by her stepfather Martin A. Yorkavitch.  She was predeceased by her brother Vincent G. Thomas and sister Karon L.  Esser.  Services are private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society

You were my 1st born and the last to survive.

I’m going to miss you very much. I’m sorry for all the pain and suffering you had to endure but we did try to do everything to help you thru all the pain but nothing worked. At the end we finally realized nothing was helping you. Marty and I are going to miss all the good times we had together and all the bad times also. We love you so very very much and I will keep you in my heart forever. I will be putting your ashes next to your favorite cat, that way you and Wally will be together forever.
