Shirley Gawthorp Obituary

Shirley L. (Moyer) Gawthorp, 75, of Kutztown, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was the wife of the late Floyd L. Gawthorp. Born in Longswamp Township, she was the daughter of the late Albert S. and Lorraine E. (Miller) Moyer. Prior to retiring she was employed by East Penn Manufacturing. Shirley is survived by sons: Dwayne C. Trump, Mississippi, David T. Trump, Shartlesville, Scott L. Trump, Reading; three grandchildren; brother, Robert L. Moyer husband of Pat, Reading; sisters: Sandra A. wife of Dennis Hilbert, Mertztown, Betty L. wife of Ronald Moyer, Boyertown, Nancy E. wife of Henry Erb, Kutztown, Catherine E. widow of Thomas Homan, Kutztown, Debbie L. wife of Brian Hess, Bernville. She was predeceased by brother, Earl L. Moyer and sisters, Dorothy and Barbara Moyer. Shirley and Sarge’s wishes were for no service but that their cremains be interred together at Berks County Memorial Gardens. Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home Inc in charge of arrangements.
