Ronald Ruppert Obituary

Ronald E. Ruppert, 73, of Topton, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2022. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Daniel and Betty (Miller) Ruppert. He worked as a welder for Bally Case and Cooler then at DEKA for many years. He is survived by daughters; Shannon wife of Dustin Kemp of Blandon, Tammy Kehl of Shoemakersville, brother Darrell Ruppert of Mertztown, and sister Beverly wife of Larry Miller of Halifax. He is also survived by five grandchildren; Emilee, Grayce, Joel, Cary and Jody.  Ronnie began singing in bands when he was 15 years old. He also played drums, keyboard, and spun a mean tambourine. He was the 2017 People’s Choice Award winner and inducted into the Berks County Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His talent brought joy to so many. He will be missed dearly.  Ronnie was a fighter and his family will forever be proud of his bravery. The family is respecting his wishes and there will not be any services.
