Leroy J. Biehl

Leroy J. Biehl, 98, of Kutztown, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Mildred L. (Berndt) Biehl.  Born in Richmond Township, he was the son of the late Ammon and Sally (Hoch) Biehl. He was a graduate of Fleetwood Area High School. Biehl was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown. Leroy worked at Red Cheek before starting to farm. He was a lifetime dairy farmer.  He was also an active member of Berks County Farm Association, Fleetwood Grange, and the Kutztown Fire Company. He is survived by companion, Helen Hoch of Fleetwood; son, Dalton L., husband of Vickie L. (Martin); daughter, Marcia L. (Biehl) Rohrbach, widow of Timothy N. Rohrbach, both of Kutztown. There are also four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sisters, Arlene (Biehl) Wiltrout and Elda (Biehl) Stein, and brother, Melvin Biehl. Services will be Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11am in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown. Visitation will be from 10am to 11am in the church. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church. Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home Inc., Kutztown, is in charge of arrangements.
