Gail A. (Gressley) Rothermel

Gail A. (Gressley) Rothermel, 68, of Alburtis passed away in her home December 7, 2022. She was the wife of Scott N. Rothermel. They were married 35 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harold S. and Anna Marcella (Moyer) Gressley. Gail was a 1972 graduate of Brandywine High School and worked as a systems analyst for Kutztown University 35 years retiring in 2007. She loved to vacation in Maine and on Chincoteague Island. Gail was an avid scrapbooker and a member of Kutztown Fire Company Auxiliary.   

In addition to her husband Scott, she is survived by: sister, Linda L. wife of Raymond Lorish of Alburtis; brother-in-law, William F. Hilbert of Alburtis; Uncle Gene L. Gressley of Alexandria VA; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Beverly A. Hilbert; and beloved dog Jenny.

Services are Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11am in Huffs Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA. Visitation with the family 9:30am-11am. Interment Huffs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Huffs Church, National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org/donation), Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org/get-involved-now/donate). Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home Inc. in charge of arrangements.
