Esta V. (Spohn) Focht

        Esta V. (Spohn) Focht, 99, formally of Kutztown passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 at the Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, PA. Born in Kutztown she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Martha (Kieffer) Spohn. Esta was a loving and devoted wife and mother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. After many years as a sewing machine operator, she retired from the Fleetwood Shirt Factory. She was a longtime member of Zion Moselem Lutheran Church.

        Esta was predeceased by husbands George W. Dietrich Sr. and Charles E. Focht, and by her many siblings. She is survived by her son George W. Dietrich Jr. husband of Ethel M. of Sellersville, granddaughter Gretchen L. wife of Claudio Badalamenti of Pottstown, and greatgrandchildren Felicia L. and Luca C. Badalamenti.

        Services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, 340 Moselem Church Road, Kutztown. Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

    The family would like to extend a special note of appreciation to all the caregivers at the Peter Becker Community for the excellent care they provided to Esta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Esta’s name to Zion Moselem Lutheran Church.
