Doris Pelletier Siekmann (96) was the daughter of the late Louis Pelletier and Mary Peterson Pelletier. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank and her sister Irene Pelletier Kaeding. She had been married to Frank Siekmann for 70 years. She is survived by her three children, Ellen Forbus (Kenneth) of Bowman, Ga, Bruce Siekmann (Marie) of Fleetwood, and Matthew Siekmann of Kutztown. Two grandchildren, Anton (Ashlan), Bela, and one great grandchild Gwendolyn. She had been an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Kutztown having been on Church Council, Adult Sunday School Class, W.E.L.C.A., Lay Reader, Witness Team, Visitation Team, Bible Study Groups, and a Day Care Teacher. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of the City of N.Y. and was employed at Ted Bates Advertising and at Scott Foresman Publishing. She also was a substitute teacher in various elementary schools in the area. Doris and her husband especially enjoyed Elderhostel, camping and traveling to places such as Australia, Figi, Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia and all 50 states. A private memorial service will be held at Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 201 E.
