Dennis R. Evans

Dennis R. Evans, 70, of Mertztown, passed away January 16, 2022. He was the husband of Gail S. (Ballonoff) Evans with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. Born in Richmond Township, he was the son of the late Preston R. and Verna M. (Reinert) Evans. Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Kutztown High School and was a self employed Truck Driver for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, James Evans; daughters: Stephanie wife of Tony Concordia, and Lynn partner of Dustin Burton; sisters: Grace Yarnall, Carol Wilkins, and Joyce Wilson; brother, Roy Evans husband of Christine; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters: Cheryl Markowski, Linda Locher, and Brabara Reinert. Services are private.
