She sang in the Kutztown Community Choir and helped to select the music for their programs. She also ran the scoring room of the Lehigh Valley Mathcounts competition for middle-schoolers for many years. She loved the beach, reading (especially mysteries), cheering for the Phillies, planting flower gardens, playing bridge, solving crossword puzzles and sudokus, and watching Jeopardy!.
