Milton J. (Sonny) Kemp 90 died March 4 in his Virginville residence. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Stump) Kemp.
He was born in Kutztown a son of the late Fred S. and Cora M. (Heffner) Kemp.
He was a WW 2 Navy veteran having served from 1942-1946. He served two years in the Fleet Air Wing # 1 with
Admiral Halsey’s 3 rd Fleet. He retired from Carpenter Technology February 1st 1985 having worked there thirty years.
He was a member of the VFW Post 8795 Adamstown, and the VIrginville Fire Co.
He is survived in addition to his wife Shirley A., daughter Lois A. wife of Larry Geist Fleetwood, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren,
one step granddaughter, two step great grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by a daughter Janet S. Leiberman in 2005.
