Malcolm (Mac) A. Eidle 80, of Kutztown died January 17th in Lehigh Valley Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Shirley R. (DeLong) Eidle who died in 2011.
Mac was born in West Reading a son of the late Frederick H, and Annie C. (Breininger) Eidle.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown, and a graduate of Kutztown High School.
He was employed at the former Fenstermacher & Son Hardward Store and Erb Electric for many years.
Mac was very active in the community have served on Borough Council for 27 years, including being
Council President. He was also on the Rec Board for 10 years. Mac was part of the Tuesday morning work
crew at the Kutztown Area Historical Society. He also was in the National Guard.
He is survived by a daughter Kathryn S. wife of Neil Widdows , Blandon, sons Douglas A. husband of Robin, Decatur, Ga.

Graveside services Monday January 23 at 1:30 PM in Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Rd., Reading
