Lillie E. Henninger

Lillie E. Henninger, 93, formerly of Albany Township, passed away June 17, 2026 in the Lutheran Home Topton. Born in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar E. and Rachel E. (Long) Greenawalt. In 1951 she married Lawson W. Henninger, who preceded her death on January 11, 1980.

Lillie is survived by her son, Jason L Henninger and his wife Lorraine of Wyomissing, PA and daughter, Lori J Holtzinger and her husband Joe of Mechanicsburg, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Erin Henninger of Monroe, NY and Scott Henninger and his wife Kate of Sinking Spring PA, and three great-grandsons. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mae Frederick and Alice Danner, brother, Carl Greenawalt, her infant son Ferryl, and granddaughter Molly Holtzinger.

Lillie graduated from Kutztown High School in 1950. She worked at the former Kutztown Shoe factory, Kutztown University, and Kutztown School District as a cafeteria cook, and helped manage the family farm.

Lillie was a life-long member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, PA. She volunteered in the kitchen of the Kempton Fire Company. She loved quilting, crocheting, and baking.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. The family requests that contributions in Lillie’s memory be made to New Bethel Church Memorial Fund, 135 New Bethel Church Road, Kempton, PA 19529. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Inc. Kutztown.
