John E.D. Huffman

John E. D. Huffman 86 formerly of Reading passed away April 1st  in Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown.
He was the husband of  Jean M. (Gromis) Huffman, Allentown.
Mr. Huffman was born in Reading a son of the late  Ralph S. Huffman and Sue H. (Steinrock) Whittle.
He was a member of Calvary Reformed United Church of Christ, Reading and was a Marine  Corp Veteran of WW 2.
He was a past president and treasurer of the Gov. Joseph Hiester Chapter, Pennsylvania Society  Sons of the
American  Revolution.
He had been  co-owner of The Glen Shoppe, and  a partner in Mell Hardware both in Reading.  He was employed as a
route salesman for ARA services for 25 years.  He worked as a courier for Boscov’s Department stores.
He is survived by his wife Jean M., son Michael C. , Allentown.
Funeral services on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. in the Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Inc., 346 W. Main Street, Kutztown.
Interment in Laureldale Cemetery.
Viewing Saturday 9:30 A.M. to time of service.
