Irene Berkenstock

Irene E. Berkenstock, 94, of Kutztown passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, in her home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Berkenstock who passed in 2006. Born in Stony Run, she was the daughter of the late George and Esther (Gruber) Peters. She was a long time member of Grace Church Kutztown.

She is survived by daughters; Renae E. of Womelsdorf, Cheryl I. wife of Stanley Oberheim of Kutztown.

Services are Saturday February 14, 2026 in Grace Church Kutztown. Visitation with the family 10am to 11am. Service at 11am. Interment in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Grimsville. In lieu of flowers contributions in Irene’s memory can be made to Grace Church.
