Edward F. Hassel ,76, died February 28 in Kutztown Manor. He formerly resided in Wilkes Barre. He was the husband of Rosemary E. (McHale) Hassel also a guest at the nursing home. He was born in Wilkes Barre, a son of the late Ralph C. and Alice H. (Stiles) Hassel. He was self employed as a stone owner and later worked at a Hess gas station. Edward is survived by his wife, brother Paul Hassel, Wilkes Barre, and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Monday, March 7 at 12:30 PM in Memorial Shrine Cemetery. The Edward J. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Inc., Kutztown in charge of arrangements.
