Drew M. Stump

Drew Martin Stump, 72 of Kutztown, passed away on October 17, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Christman) Stump married for 52 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Kenneth H. Stump and Mae E. (Grim) Stump. 

He graduated from Kutztown Area High School and Ryder Technical Institute. He worked in the battery industry for 42 years, last working for Enersys as a Marketing Manager. Through his lifetime he was involved in many civic organizations, Boy Scouts, Jaycees, Little League, Cougar Football, Grange, Borough Council, and the Masons. He received numerous achievements, honors, and awards. 

He was predeceased in death by his mother Mae E. (Grim) Stump; father, Kenneth H. Stump; and brother, Dale K. Stump.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; sons, Andrew M. (Nazareth) and Michael J. (Tennessee); brother, Dean A. Stump, husband of Patricia C (Moyer) Stump; granddaughter, Adriane Nichole Stump; and his faithful companion Nacho. 

Services will be held November 23, 2024 at Hildebrand Funeral Home, 346 West Main Street, Kutztown. Visitation is from 10:00 – 12:00. Service to start at noon.
