Carol A. Mertz.

Carol A. Mertz, 81, of Kutztown passed away Thursday January 22, 2026. She was the wife of Larry L. Mertz. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George and Marian (Stein) Fitzgerald. She was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School class of 1962. Carol and Larry worked on their family farm for over 50 years.

She was a member of St. Johns UCC, Kutztown.

In addition to her Husband Larry, she is survived by; daughter Michelle Mertz, sons Michael husband of Melanie, Steven husband of Stacey, five grand sons, eight great grand children. Services to be determined for the near future.
