Ruth M. (Shankweiler) Moyer

Ruth M. Moyer 94 formerly of Kutztown ,  passed away December 3 in the Lutheran Home at Topton.  
She was the widow of the late Russell L. Moyer who died in  1992.
Ruth was born in  Kutztown a daughter of the late James S. and Eliza A. (Benefield) Shankweiler.
She was graduate of  Kutztown High School class of 1940 and Mc Cann School of Business and
worked in Accounts Payable at Kutztown University for 39 years.
 Ruth was a very faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown having served  on church council
for many years as Council Secretary and Council Treasurer. 
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services at Trinity Lutheran Church , 357 W. Main St., Kutztown,  Friday   December 9th at 11 AM, with The 
Rev. Keith Rohrbach officiating.  Interment in Gernant’s UCC Cemetery, Leesport.
Visitation with the family Friday 10 to 11 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers contribution maybe made in Ruth’s memory  to the Memorial Fund of Trinity Lutheran Church 
at the above address.
