Janie was a lovely person and family friend for many, many years. She traveled and camped often with my mother, Ann. Aunt Janie often stopped at my home in Norfolk, MA on her way to Gloucester and we missed her visits when she was no longer able to drive the distance. I wish I had known she was in Gloucester as I would have visited her there.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of our dear sister Jane. I am one of the older members of the Delta Kappa Gamma chapter that she belonged to, and I am sure she would be thrilled to know that we have an active group of young members to keep things going. We used to help her in and out of her car, carry flowers, etc., and she always called us her "girls". Her "girls" are so glad to have known her.

I worked with Miss Richards... I was a teacher and she supervised many of my student teachers. She was always smiling, fair, and encouraging. It was a pleasure to know her. My sympathy to her family. She influenced many lives.
