Wendy S. Fenstermacher

Wendy S. Fenstermacher, 48, of Allentown, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, of natural causes in the Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph M. Kressley. Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of June E. (DeLong) Fenstermacher, Mertztown, and the late G. Barry L. Fenstermacher. A 1986 graduate of Brandywine High School as Valedictorian, she later graduated from Millersville, Kutztown University, and the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown. She had worked for 25 years for Kids Peace, and last worked the Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit, for the last two years.  She had also volunteered for the ARC for 20 years. In addition to husband and mother, she is survived by her brother, Brian J., husband of Cindy Fenstermacher, Quakertown. Memorial services will be Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 1 PM from St. John’s Lutheran Church, 201 E. Main St., Kutztown, PA  19530, with the Rev. Mary Ann Hamm, officiating.  The family will greet relatives and friends following the service in the social hall of the church where there will be a time of fellowship and refreshment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Wendy’s memory to her church at the above address.
