Perry E. Welder 61 of Blandon,died December 13, in Reading Hospital, after a long courageous
battle with bile-duct cancer.
He was the husband of Lori L. (Luckenbill) Welder.
Perry was born in West Reading, a son of the late Earl and Nancy (Lead) Welder.
He was a g graduate of Reading High School and was employed for 17 years at Exide and 26 years at
East PennManufacturing, Lyons as a welder operator in A 3 assembly until diagnosed with cancer.
He is survived in addition to his wife by a sister Karen Shirk, Reading, step brother Robert Kohl,Bernville,
half sister Katie Kohl,Cumberland County,nephew Vincent Watt, Bernville, he was pre-deceased
by a brother Kevin Kohl, and sister Joanne Kohl.
Perry was a devoted husband and an avid baseball fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, animal lover,
especially at the chipmunks.  He will be truly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services Tuesday, December 19th at 11 Am in the Edward J,HIldenbrand Fun real Home, Inc.
346 W. Main Street, Kutztown , with Chaplain John Studenroth officiating. Visitation 10 AM to time of service.
Interment in Zion Moselem Church Cemetery, Richmond Township.
