Jill A. (Diefenderfer) Hersh

Jill A. Hersh, 61, of North Catasauqua, Pa. passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday April 4th, 2018. Last month she celebrated 40 years of marriage to her husband Robert C. Hersh. She was the mother of three boys: Bryan, Corey, and Kyle. Jill was co-owner of Hersh’s Markets in Allentown and later an Avon and Fuller product representative. Her greatest joys in life were raising her boys as well as being a loving and caring housewife. Her passion extended far beyond family alone, as many felt the joy and happiness brought on by Jill’s love and affection. Jill was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Catasauqua. She was the daughter of the late Clinton R. and Doris E. (Weaver) Diefenderfer of North Catasauqua and is survived by brothers Dean C. of Albrightsville and Kent R. Diefenderfer of Schnecksville. Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Paul’s in Catasauqua. Hildenbrand Funeral Home, Kutztown, is in charge of the arrangements.
